International travel was one of the key reasons for the high number of Covid deaths in the UK, according to a new study. Researchers in Aberdeen looked at the 37 worst affected countries in the world – including the UK – and concluded that if they’d imposed tighter border restrictions earlier they could have controlled the spread.
