Investigation into food poisoning death of young boy in Sharm El Sheikh
Authorities are investigating the death of a six-year old Italian tourist, likely from food poisoning. The child’s parents also suffered similar symptoms in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh.
The Italian Embassy in Cairo said a probe into the death of Andrea Mirabile continues and it seeks a ‘prompt repatriation of the child’s body.”
The Red Sea resort’s all-inclusive beach hotels are v popular with Italians and other Europeans.
