Iran Air adds London capacity
Iran Air is adding a fourth weekly flight from Heathrow to Tehran this summer.
The airline is also upgraded the aircraft type serving the route to a larger Boeing 747.
This summer flights to Tehran will operate from Heathrow Terminal 3 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
All flights will be operated by 747, with business and economy seats
UK general manager Daryoush Niknam said: "We are experiencing heavy demand not just for flights to Tehran, but also for onward connections to the regional cities of Mashad, Shiraz and Tabriz.
“The new flight and larger aircraft will enable us to offer more flexible itineraries as well as very competitive fares."
