Boeing’s new generation 787 Dreamliner has finally taken to the skies on its first test flight following five developmental delays.
The four-hour flight from Seattle marks a year of testing before the fuel-efficient new aircraft starts being delivered to airlines.
All Nippon Airways is expected to take delivery of the first 787 in the fourth quarter of 2010.
