Island Cruises issues 2008 discounts
Informal line Island Cruises is discounting 2008 Mediterranean cruises by almost £600.
A 14-night voyage on the Island Star has been cut in price by £570 to give a revised lead-in of £899 for a departure in April.
Savings of up to £320 per person are available on seven-night fly-cruise itineraries which now start at £679 in May.
The starting price for the line’s first ship Island Escape is now £529 for a seven-night Mediterranean cruise based on two sharing an inside cabin on March 25 departing Gatwick or Liverpool.
A 15-night Caribbean cruise in January 2009 now leads in at £1,099 for those flying from Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast to join the ship in Barbados.
Child rates in the Med start at £99, based on the youngster sharing an inside cabin with two paying adults on selected seven-night departures throughout 2008. Prices start at £1,197 for a family of three, and £1,412 for a family of four, based on a fly-cruise departing Gatwick on March 28.
Upgrades to premier cabins are available from £100 per person per week instead of £199. Upgrades to balcony cabins start at £262, down from £349.
Flight supplements have been abolished on some summer 2008 flights to Majorca from a selection of 16 UK regional airports. No flight supplements apply to on Caribbean winter flights from Manchester.
