Israel launches new website to lure more visitors to Tel Aviv
The Israel Government Tourist Office has launched a new website to promote Tel Aviv-Yafo as a modern, vibrant city for international visitors in an attempt to reverse the slowdown in tourist arrivals (see today’s Comment).
The website, www.visit-tel-aviv-yafo.com gives visitors an overall visual impression of the city through a collection of images, video content and articles that showcases Tel Aviv, which calls itself the "city that never sleeps".
Visitors to the site will be able to find a detailed events guide and information about where to eat, the best nightlife spots, art and culture venues and hotels.
The website has dedicated a section to the LGBT market, titled GayVibe, which highlights the best attractions, events, hotels and party spots.
