Italian resort named Europe’s best
Livigno has been named as Best European Resort at the World Snow Awards 2012.
The Italian resort triumphed over the other short-listed areas, including Val d’Isre (France), Courchevel (France), Saalbach-Hinterglemm (Austria), Madonna di Campiglio (Italy), Montafon (Austria) and Soldeu (Andorra).
Special attention given to dedicated areas for off-piste skiing and snowboarding helped Livigno collect the award.
