ITT hopes to draw crowds with stellar speaker list
ITT has confirmed the speakers for its annual conference in Doha.
The event, which is sponsored by the Qatar Tourism Authority is being held on June 6-8 at the Ritz Carlton. Organisers are confident that all 375 places will sell out after selling 150 places at World Travel Market last year.
Key speakers include former Labour spin doctor Alastair Campbell, TUI UK’s Chris Mottershead, Manny Fontenla-Novoa of Thomas Cook, Cosmos’ Terry Williamson and weatherman Michael Fish. Former British Airways boss Bob Ayling, now at Holidaybreak, and former MyTravel executive Steve Endacott have been enrolled to act as judges as Travel Weekly and TTG editors Martin Lane and John Welsh answer charges of misrepresenting the industry.
The conference will be supplemented by tours around Doha including a cruise on a traditional dhow boat.
