Jamaica to get two new hotels
Two new hotels, one for families and the other adult-only, are to be built by a Spanish hotel chain at Coral Springs in Jamaica.
The family hotel, a five-star property with 425 seaview rooms, will open in time for the winter 2018 season.
The construction of a 375-room adult-only hotel will start upon completion of the first hotel.
The US$200 million investment by Ocean H10 Hotels, near Falmouth, Trelawny, is expected to create 1,500 jobs once both hotels are open.
