Jamaica’s “secret:†last minute travel deals
Jamaica is offering “fantastic” last minute travel savings, according to tourism officials, that range from family vacations to romantic rendezvous with "secrets."
“Many of Jamaica’s hotels, resorts and villas are offering discounted rates and special value-added incentives to travelers,” said Jamaica’s Director of Tourism John Lynch.
The most intriguing is all-inclusive Couples Resorts, which offers its newest "Secret Rendezvous" promotion. With this offer, the couple’s booked property from now until April 30 of this year remains a secret until seven days prior to their departure to Jamaica. Possible locations include all four of the Couples Resorts properties located in Negril and Ocho Rios – Couples Tower Isle, Couples Sans Souci, Couples Negril, and Couples Swept Away.
Other deals include:
• Families can find the biggest savings of this year at Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort where rates are 60 percent off the regular prices for travel between now and June 30 of this year.
• The family friendly Beaches Sandy Bay, Beaches Boscobel Resort & Golf Club and Beaches Negril Reort & Spa are offering the “Beaches Free Night” sale. Guests who book a minimum seven-night stay will receive one night free.
• The Ritz Carlton Golf & Spa Resort is offering guests who book a four-night stay get the fourth night free. Rates start at USD$329 per night, based on single/double occupancy. Guests who book five nights can receive the fifth night free.
