Jane Atkins to head up TIPTO
TIPTO has appointed Jane Atkins to the role of chairman.
Atkins is well known in the industry, having had high-profile roles in several companies, including MyTravel, Freedom Travel Group and Future Travel. She is currently sales and product director at Superbreak.
She said: "This is an extremely exciting time to become chair.
"We now have more members than we’ve had in the last eight years, and in the last year have made significant changes to our agent training with the introduction of four Supershows and four training days to our existing portfolio of road shows.
"Having been part of TIPTO in my current role at Superbreak for the last five years, I have gained a great knowledge and understanding of TIPTO.
"I’m looking forward to utilising this, and with the support of the leadership team, continue to grow and develop TIPTO even further to assist our agent friends and members."
Atkins’ appointment comes following the decision by Zena Hill to step down to enable her to spend more time with her family after holding this position for four years.
