January disruption at Manchester Airport’s train station
Passengers travelling by train to Manchester Airport are being warned to take extra time over their journey in January.
The airport’s train station will be carrying out essential works throughout the month, which means reduced services and some closures.
Network Rail will begin to install the new track and signalling with services reduced to two platforms in use between Sunday 11 and Saturday 17.
Station closures are expected until Monday February 9, 2015.
"Please make sure you check the travel details for your journey to the airport and ensure that you arrive for your flight," said Monarch.
