Japan braces itself for tropical storm
Japan is bracing itself for the arrival of Typhoon Halola which is due to hit southern parts at the weekend.
Less than a week after Typhoon Nangka brought flooding to the area, another tropical storm is on its way.
Typhoon Halola first developed to the south west of Hawaii on July 10 but is expected to approach Japan by this weekend.
A weather report said Halola should weaken as it approaches Japan but strong winds and flash flooding will still affect anyone living in southern and eastern Japan.
