Japan investigates tour boat operator
A child’s body was recovered in the ongoing search for the tour boat missing off the coast of Japan. The Shiretoko Pleasure Cruise vessel went missing at the weekend with 26 people onboard. Eleven bodies have been recovered so far.
Hope for any survivors have all but evaporated. The Transport Ministry is investigating operator Shiretoko Pleasure Cruise over safety standards and the decision to operate the tour despite the rough sea conditions
