Jet2.com expands in Scotland
Jet2.com will base a fourth aircraft at Glasgow next summer, creating 50 more jobs at the airport.
It will use the extra capacity to launch three new routes from Glasgow, to Murcia in Spain, Pula in Croatia and Menorca. Tickets have gone on sale today.
It will be the first time Murcia and Pula are served from Glasgow Airport.
There will also be more flights to destinations including the Canaries, Majorca, Ibiza and Turkey, with overall capacity next summer 20% up on 2012.
Managing director Steve Heapy said: "Glasgow is an important base for us, and as we enter our third year, we are delighted to announce more new destinations our customers want.
"Local holidaymakers have been requesting services to Menorca, Murcia and Pula and we are happy to be offering these amazing destinations for 2013.
