Jet2 expands Jersey programme with five new routes
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is adding five routes from England to Jersey in 2021 in a major expansion of its summer programme.
Flights will operate to the Channel Island from Birmingham, East Midlands, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted.
Services will start in mid May and operate until September.
Jet2 currently operates to Jersey from Leeds Bradford.
The operator said the expansion was in response to strong demand.
Jet2 and Jet2holidays Chief Executive Steve Heapy said: "We are delighted to be significantly expanding our Jersey programme for Summer 21, with a great choice of flights departing from six bases in response to strong demand.
"Thanks to the addition of new routes from five of our UK bases, in addition to our existing programme from Leeds Bradford, it means that we have a fantastic choice of weekend and midweek flights available to Jersey."
With travel to continental Europe uncertain for next year it is felt UK destinations could enjoy a bumper year.
