Jet2 extends Ibiza and Menorca programmes
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have extended their season for Ibiza and Menorca on the back of strong demand for off peak holidays.
The sister companies are putting on more than 80 additional flights across both destinations, representing an extra 30,000 seats.
Additional flights are now on sale to Ibiza from five UK bases – Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle – between late September and the end of October this year.
The summer season will also start earlier in Ibiza next year, with the addition of twice-weekly flights in April from four of its UK bases – Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted.
Meanwhile, additional flights have been confirmed for Menorca between September and November this year, with additional services from five UK bases – Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "This news is a real boost for the tourism industry and economy in Menorca and Ibiza, and is living proof that we are not just working to fill hotels in the peak summer season but that we are working with our hotel and industry partners to achieve the best possible results in shoulder seasons too."
