Jet2 launches Vibe brand for millennials and young-at-heart travellers

Jet2holidays is promising to put customers and agents in ‘complete control’ of every element of their holiday with the launch of a new brand for millennials, called Vibe.

Vibe by Jet2holidays will target ‘millennial mindset holidaymakers who want to experience much more than a typical 18-30s holiday overseas’, the operator said.

The programme will be split into four different categories: Iconic Vibe, which will offer premium hotels such as Hard Rock Ibiza; Pure Vibe, featuring pool parties, live performances and daytime DJs; Party Vibe, offering value hotels in party resorts and Chilled Vibe, promising sophistication and exclusive extras.

In total, the programme will include almost 50 resorts, with the choice of hotels ranging from two- to five-star properties.

Jet2holidays head of product Zoe Towers said: "We are doing what no other holiday company does, and are putting customers and independent travel agents in complete control of every element of their holiday through the launch of this new product, and we are very excited about what it means for younger customers and those with a millennial mindset.

"Vibe by Jet2holidays offers all the benefits of a Jet2holidays package, but what really sets this exciting new brand apart is the amount of time we’ve put into helping independent travel agents and customers choose a holiday that is tailored exactly to what they need.

"So whether a customer wants out-out or chill-out, then our Iconic, Party, Pure and Chilled vibes help create that perfect holiday."

Jet2 said the brand will also appeal to first-time holidaymakers, bucket listers, and the over-25s experience-driven market.

The launch of Vibe by Jet2holidays will be supported by an integrated campaign across TV, Video On Demand, radio, email, digital, and social media, with dedicated social media channels on Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter (@Jet2Vibe for each channel).

In addition to a dedicated website and 76-page brochure, the Jet2holidays trade team is rolling out a dedicated programme to help independent travel agents understand and sell Vibe by Jet2holidays to customers.

This includes promotional executives working over the winter to support agents, dedicated sessions on the company’s Earn Your Wings training programme, webinars, trade emails, social media support, and branded merchandise.
