Jet2.com adds Ibiza
Jet2.com is adding Ibiza to its no-frills network next summer.
The carrier will serve the Balearic island from Leeds-Bradford airport with five flights a week between May and September with prices starting at £21.
The new route plus expansion on six other established services will result in almost 50% more seats being offered by the airline next summer over this year.
Jet2.com is adding capacity on routes from the Yorkshire airport to: Alicante (twice daily), Amsterdam (two flights on Saturdays in addition to twice daily weekdays and daily on Sundays), Faro (daily), Malaga (three times a day), Palma (twice daily), Murcia (two flights on Saturdays and Sundays).
The increased services are in addition to routes to Barcelona, Belfast, Nice, Prague and Venice served from Leeds-Bradford.
As reported by TravelMole, the carrier put summer 2005 flights on sale from Belfast to Barcelona, Leeds-Bradford and Prague last week.
The remainder of seats for next summer went on sale yesterday.
Jet2.com managing director Philip Meeson said: “Overall we’re offering our customers almost 50% more low cost seats next summer than we did this summer.”
