Jet2 to fly to 21 destinations from Stansted
Jet2 has confirmed that it plans to fly to 21 destinations from Stansted, its ninth UK base.
Flights are available to book from today.
Destinations include Lanzarote, Malaga, Alicante, Dubrovnik, Faro and Ibiza.
The company has expanded its trade sales team with the appointment of a sales executive dedicated to Stansted.
Trade bookings account for a third of its business, it said.
Flights from Stansted will operate on six Jet2.com and Jet2.holidays’ new Boeing 737s, delivered last week.
Flights will start on March 30 2017 to Alicante, Faro, Majorca and Lanzarote.
More than 250 new jobs will be created, said Jet2.
Head of trade Alan Cross described the move as ‘a real milestone for Jet2holiday’, adding ‘it marks the day we bring our family friendly formula to travel agency partners in the south of England’.

. Girona (Costa Brava) – twice weekly

. Lanzarote – four times a week
. Larnaca – three times a week
. Madeira – twice weekly

. Paphos – twice weekly

. Reus – four times a week
. Rhodes – three times a week
. Tenerife – six times a week
