Jet2CityBreaks is launching a series of video-on-demand adverts for the first time this week, targeting empty-nesters and younger couples.

To be aired on premium video-on-demand catch-up services including ITV Hub, All 4, My 5, Sky TV and Virgin TV, the 30-second ads focus on the most popular European city break destinations, such as Barcelona, Prague, Rome and Krakow.

They also highlight the operator’s included 22kg hold baggage and 10kg hand-luggage allowance.

Part of an integrated brand campaign, the new adverts will be supported by digital and social media campaigns.

The adverts feature popular hotels offered by Jet2CityBreaks including the Iberostar Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, Hotel Ellington in Nice and Art Deco Imperial Hotel in Prague.

The new adverts showcase the destinations during both summer and winter. Jet2CityBreaks’ marketing director Gavin Forth said: "This is an extremely popular time of year for taking a city break, and this brand-new advert really captures the joy of exploring our fantastic city break destinations, inspiring younger and older couples to plan their next trip with Jet2CityBreaks."
