Jet2holidays reports record post-Christmas demand
Jet2holidays says it has seen record levels of demand for holidays through travel agent partners.
From Boxing Day to last weekend, the tour operator saw agent bookings increase by around 150% compared to pre-Christmas.
These include a high volume of forward bookings for summer 2024 as well as late bookings for this winter.
The company has also reported traffic to its Travel Agent Finder page more than doubling in recent days.
Destinations enjoying popularity include Spain, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, Malta and Bulgaria.
Also, Jet2holidays noted a trend for bookings of holidays outside of the traditional 7-, 10- and 14-night stays.
There is continued strong demand from family holidays with free child places still available during the school holidays.
All-Inclusive bookings have also been enjoying strong growth.
This demand follows Jet2holidays announcing a brand-new ‘Prepare2Peak’ campaign, to help independent travel agents boost sales during the peak booking period.
Travel agents can offer customers £60 per person off all Jet2holidays packages.
“We are seeing record levels of demand via travel agents as customers lock in their holidays,” said CEO Steve Heapy.
