JetBlue boosts London flights
JetBlue is boosting its transatlantic schedules with an extra daily flight linking New York City and London.
The additional flight starts on October 29 to London Gatwick.
It plans to continue increasing frequencies to London to five daily by later this year.
JetBlue has also just received permanent slots at London Heathrow for flights starting October 29.
“With permanent slots at Heathrow – the highest in-demand slots globally – we’re now positioned to provide long-term service at one of the busiest airports in the world,” CEO Robin Hayes said.
Flights connecting Boston Logan International with Heathrow and Gatwick launch later this summer.
JetBlue transatlantic services are operated on Airbus A321LR aircraft.
