JetBlue brings back two Fort Lauderdale routes
JetBlue is restarting two nonstop routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Beginning this July, JetBlue will resume service between Fort Lauderdale and both Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE) in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Flights for both routes are now on sale.
These route additions come on top of JetBlue’s recent investments in South Florida, growing departures in the region by 6% year-over-year.
JetBlue now offers over 70 daily flights to over 30 destinations from Fort Lauderdale.
“We’re not only making it easier for more customers to get to their favorite vacation destination, but also to connect with their family and friends, all while strengthening JetBlue’s position as a preferred carrier in South Florida,” said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s head of revenue, network and enterprise planning.
Both routes will be operated on JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft,
To mark the announcement, JetBlue has limited time special $69 one-way fares between Fort Lauderdale and Philadelphia and $119 one-way to Guayaquil, available on www.jetblue.com.
