JetBlue cooperates with Germany’s Airberlin
JetBlue Airways has sealed a cooperation pact with Germany’s airberlin.
Kicking off on September 12, customers of oneworld alliance member airberlin can book through tickets to any of 31 destinations in the US via JetBlue from New York JFK, Boston and Orlando
"This is only the beginning of our cooperation. Together, we are working to extend our partnership in the coming months," said airberlin CCO Götz Ahmelmann.
The agreement will also expand to frequent flyer programs in the near future with members of airberlin’s topbonus able to earn miles on JetBlue flights.
Airberlin sees JetBlue’s New York JFK hub as the major benefit for travelers from Germany with transfer connections to diverse destinations on JetBlue’s network to Bermuda, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Orlando, San Juan and more.
Airberlin flies to JFK twice daily from Dusseldorf and once a day from Berlin.
