JetBlue hires new flight operations VP
JetBlue has hired Jim Sullivan as new vice president, flight operations.
Sullivan will be chiefly responsible for flight operations and flight standards and reports to Warren Christie, safety, security & air operations SVP.
Sullivan has spent nearly 30 years in the aviation industry and most of that time was at Frontier Airlines.
He left Frontier in 2015 to join Surf Air and was most recently chief operating officer at Great Lakes Aviation.
"Jim’s broad industry experience, array of senior leadership roles, and commitment to servant leadership is an impressive combination," said Christie.
"I’m confident that he will lead with JetBlue’s values in mind, with a focus on strengthening and growing the flight operations team and guiding us to the next chapter in JetBlue’s growth."
Sullivan said: "I am looking forward to working alongside JetBlue’s pilots and contributing to the airline’s continued success."
