JetBlue lands in Tulum

JetBlue has officially launched service between New York’s JFK and Tulum’s Felipe Carrillo Puerto Tulum International Airport.

Jetblue’s Tulum flights will operate daily, making it the third destination in Mexico, after Cancun and Los Cabos.

“As the only airline with direct service from New York’s JFK to Tulum, we are thrilled to offer our customers another option when traveling to the Mexican Caribbean,” said David Jehn, JetBlue’s VP of network planning and airline partnerships.

“JetBlue began service to Mexico more than 17 years ago and we’re proud to expand our footprint.”

It has been welcomed by the Quintana Roo Tourism Board.

We look forward to welcoming New Yorkers, and those transiting through JFK, to this new era in the Mexican Caribbean,” said tourism board director Andrés Martínez Reynoso.

Tulum, located southwest of Playa del Carmen and Cancun, has become a top choice for those seeking an escape with wellness resorts and retreats, and archaeological ruins.

JetBlue will operate the Tulum route using its Airbus A320.
