JetBlue launching Fort Lauderdale-Los Angeles Mint premium service next March

Sunday, 12 Jul, 2016 0
JetBlue will launch the next phase of its Mint premium service expansion in Fort Lauderdale from March 20, 2017.

The airline has opened sales of Mint premium class on the Fort Lauderdale-Los Angeles route and will add the FLL-San Francisco route to the Mint network in 2017.

"We saw that the outdated and outrageously priced ‘business class’ offered by other carriers was a sore spot for travelers. Our freshly designed, affordable take on premium travel is winning us customers in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and we expect it to do the same in Fort Lauderdale and beyond," said Marty St. George, executive vice president commercial and planning, JetBlue.

Launched in 2014, Mint service is offered on JetBlue’s Airbus A321aircraft with fully-flat bed seating, a 15-inch flat screen with complimentary entertainment and dedicated menu.

This expansion phase will also see Mint rolled out on transcontinental flights to San Diego and Seattle from the East Coast.

JetBlue will then offer up to 70 daily Mint flights serving 12 destinations in the US and Caribbean.
