JetBlue launching seasonal Boston-Barbados flights
Hard on the heels of new flights announced for Antigua from New York, JetBlue will add a seasonal weekly service from Boston Logan International Airport to Barbados.
Flights to Barbados’ Grantley Adams International Airport will take off from November 7 and will be the fifth new seasonal service launched by JetBlue to the Caribbean and Latin America in the past year.
The Boston-Barbados flight will complement the carrier’s existing daily service to Barbados from New York JFK, which is being upgraded to include JetBlue’s premium Mint service this winter.
"Boston is one of the most affluent regions on the eastern seaboard and it presents an opportunity to diversify Barbados’ tourism business beyond the current US gateways. We look forward to continued strong cooperative marketing efforts with our partners at JetBlue to ensure the success of this new service," said Barbados’ Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Richard Sealy.
Additionally the carrier is launching special introductory fares of $149 one way on the new route for travel from November 7 and December 12, 2015 for bookings made today, May 5.
