JetBlue passenger threatens woman with a razor blade
A JetBlue passenger pressed a razor blade against a woman’s throat during a flight, federal prosecutors said.
Merrill Darrell Fackrell, 41, has been charged with assault and carrying a weapon on a plane
It happened during a flight, from New York JFK in to Salt Lake City.
Prosecutors said Fackrell held the razor blade to the woman’s throat who was sat next to him watching a movie.
The woman then ‘lunged for the aisle to escape’.
An investigation is now underway to discover how he got the razor blade past security screening.
