Jetstar Asia to launch Sri Lanka flights
Budget carrier Jetstar Asia is launching a new route to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Flights begin on July 1, 2020 from Singapore and will run four times a week.
It makes Jetstar Asia the only LCC offering direct flights between Singapore and Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankan capital becomes Jetstar’s 25th destination from Singapore Changi.
"As we face an ever-changing aviation and tourism landscape, Jetstar Asia is committed to continuing to open up exciting new destinations for our customers," said Jetstar Asia CEO, Bara Pasupathi.
"This market has so much potential, and we’re proud to be working with great partners to expand the Jetstar network and continue to grow LCC traffic out of Singapore."
The airline will deploy 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
