Jetstar flies higher with Abacus International
Abacus International has signed a new long-term global distribution agreement with Jetstar group and Jetstar Japan.
The new agreement will ensure that all Abacus-connected agencies across the region will have access to content from the Jetstar group of airlines and will help to strengthen the airline’s growth in its key bases such as Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and Vietnam.
Abacus currently boasts the largest LCC, hybrid and regional portfolio in Asia Pacific and counts several airlines within the Jetstar group, such as Jetstar International, Valuair and Jetstar Asia, as current partners.
Abacus expects that Jetstar group will more than double its bookings on Abacus platform this year with the inclusion of Jetstar Japan and Jetstar Hong Kong when it launches in 2013.
