Jetstar Group signs new distribution partnership with Travelport
Travelport has inked a new multi-year distribution partnership with the Jetstar Group.
It gives the 68,000 Travelport connected agents access to fares and ancillary content for all Jetstar brands – Jetstar Airways, Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Pacific and Jetstar Japan.
Jetstar Group is also using Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding merchandising function.
"This agreement enables Jetstar Group to give travel agencies in Travelport’s network enhanced content and easy access to airline ancillary offers, improving upselling capabilities for both the airline and the agencies. We are thrilled that Jetstar Group recognises the value and outreach that Travelport can bring to their commercial strategy," said Damian Hickey, Travelport’s VP of Asia Pacific and global sales strategy, air commerce at Travelport.
