Jetstar Perth to Manila route takes off
Jetstar’s inaugural flight from Perth to Manila has launched, marking of a major expansion of the low-cost airline’s West Australian operations.
Jetstar flies the new route three times a week on Airbus A321LR aircraft, offering more than 72,000 seats each year between Perth and Manila.
Manila is the fifth Asia route from Perth, joining Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket and Bali.
To support the additional route, a fifth Airbus A321LR aircraft will be based in Perth from March 2026.
Jetstar also flies to six domestic destinations from Perth and is the only carrier offering direct flights between Sydney, Melbourne and Busselton-Margaret River Airport.
Jetstar CEO, Stephanie Tully said: “This is the first time Jetstar has ever flown between Perth and the Philippines. Manila will be popular with West Australian holidaymakers.”
