Jetstar takes off to Bali from Newcastle
Jetstar’s first-ever direct flight from Newcastle to Bali has taken flight.
The new service operates three times a week on A321LR aircraft, adding more than 70,000 seats each year between Newcastle and Bali.
The route marks Newcastle’s return to international travel.
The launch comes just two weeks after Jetstar’s announcement of a new seasonal route between Newcastle and Hobart which launches on 2 December.
Jetstar Group CEO, Stephanie Tully, said: “We’re thrilled to see our first Newcastle to Bali service take off. This route means more convenience and more choice for our customers.”
“We want to thank Newcastle Airport and the NSW Government for their support in making this new international connection a reality.”
To mark the launch Jetstar launched a flash sale with one-way fares from Newcastle to Bali from $215 at jetstar.com. The sale lasts until midday today.
