Join the frugal rich
Can the rich be value conscious? That’s the concept of FrugalRich.com, which supporters say is an “exclusive, members-only web portal developed for high-net-worth travelers who appreciate the finer things in life, but also want value added in today’s economy.
“Many of the more than 900 hotel, resort, and villa properties have established exclusive Frugal Rich member privileges that include free nights, discounted rates, room upgrades, and VIP amenities,” says the group.
The villa portfolio includes vetted private villas ranging from a romantic one-bedroom hideaway cabin in the Colorado Mountains (complete with a private chef who goes home after dinner) to a three-villa, 15-bedroom estate on Virgin Gorda.
For Sybarites with champagne budgets, the Sybaritic Concierge can book an entire private island off Virgin Gorda owned by Richard Branson, or for the pleasure of 24 guests, the 700-acre, 11-island estate in the Bahamas owned by David Copperfield.
”The Sybaritic Concierge(R) staff has decades of experience in recommending and booking luxury travel for the Rich & Famous, including celebrities, sports figures, and affluent travelers who demand the very best,” says the site.
Membership includes travel advice plus objective reviews of hundreds of
hotels and resorts worldwide, with new properties added as discovered.
