Jules Verne adds UK tours for 2021
Jules Verne has added four new itineraries in the UK and Ireland to its 2021 collection of worldwide escorted tours.
The new itineraries include classic rail journeys on iconic Pullman trains and an eight-night cruise that encompasses highlights of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Managing director Francis Torrilla said the decision was based on feedback from clients, some of whom have expressed a preference to stay closer to home when discussing their travel plans with us for next year.
"We appreciate that these are turbulent times for anyone considering a holiday. However, as with all Jules Verne arrangements, our UK & Ireland tours are fully bonded with ABTA (our overseas tours are also bonded with ATOL), ensuring that clients can book with us in complete confidence. This commitment is further reinforced by our 100% Price Guarantee, meaning that the holiday price you pay is fixed and will remain so, even if our costs subsequently increase."
In response to a drop in demand for overseas trips, Kuoni has also this week started to sell holidays to the UK and Ireland in partnership with Glasgow-based operator McKinlay Kidd.
Under the agreement, McKinlay Kidd, an AITO member, will sell its tailor made product through Kuoni and will pay Kuoni a commission for holidays sold.
