Key appointment at newly-formed hotel investment company
Recently-formed International Hotel Group (IHL) has appointed Jon Colley as chief investment officer to help drive forward its investment and acquisition strategy.
He joins from Hilton Worldwide where he was development director, responsible for deal sourcing, contract negotiations and development of Hilton brands within the UK.
Before that, he was business development director, specialising in hotels, with the Royal Bank of Scotland.
IHL was founded last year as a hotel and leisure focused property investment vehicle and has already raised and invested £35 million of equity capital.
"Our medium term target is to grow net asset value to £200 million within three years – the company is only three months into this drive so it’s an exciting time to join the team," said Colley.
"I’m looking forward to applying my knowledge in working with investors, brands, developers and agents to achieve this objective."
