Key Travel’s Simon Bennett joins Advantage
Advantage has appointed Simon Bennett to the new role of head of business travel commercial and innovation.
Bennett was previously a member of the senior leadership team at Key Travel. He had also spent seven years with lastminute.com, where he helped steer the company through an Initial Public Offering and oversaw a huge growth in air revenue.
Having previously sat on the ABTA aviation committee Simon is a recognised voice in the travel management industry, said Advantage.
"I am genuinely excited to be joining the Advantage team and cannot wait to meet the members. I look forward to utilising my skills and experience from a commercial and technical standpoint, to bring exciting and relevant products to the membership. Advantage have a lot of plans for the year ahead and I am looking forward to being part of them," he said.
"The vision we have for the Advantage Travel Partnership is to ensure we continue to lead the way in offering, the widest range of airline content and commercial arrangements, and the best in class technology providers."
Bennett joins the team following the announcement that Lee Ainsworth has been promoted to head of Advantage Holidays and Olga Kelly’s to head of people and talent.
