Kimpton Hotels coming to Toronto
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is checking in to Canada with plans announced for a four-star hotel in the upscale neighborhood of Bloor-Yorkville, Toronto.
IHG-owned Kimpton has inked a deal with owner and developer InnVest Hotels LP, which will see a full conversion of the existing Holiday Inn Toronto Bloor Yorkville.
It will then feature 189 guest rooms, including 18 suites and a Presidential Suite.
"We’re looking forward to entering the Canadian market and introducing our unique heartfelt service to Toronto. We’re thrilled to be working with InnVest to open the first boutique hotel that speaks to the city’s dynamic cultural scene," said Mike DeFrino, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ CEO.
The hotel will also be equipped with 2,000 square feet of ground floor meeting space, a restaurant and bar, and a fitness center.
