Klook teams up with HKTB, Cathay Pacific to boost Indian travel to Hong Kong
Fast growing tours and activities platform Klook is aiming to lure more Indian travellers to the Pearl of the Orient with a new three-way partnership.
Klook has signed a key partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Board and carrier Cathay Pacific.
A joint promotion has been launched to promote travel to Hong Kong in India with up to 60% off on all Hong Kong products.
Top activities include Hong Kong’s top two theme parks Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park Hong Kong, cultural tours, food experiences and much more.
Klook has rolled out a special microsite on its website showcasing the HKTB’s campaign ‘Discover Hong Kong Like A Local’ where customers can search and book.
The discounted prices are up for grabs for customers who book flights with Cathay Pacific or subsidiary Cathay Dragon.
Discount prices will be offered when customers input their Cathay flight booking number on the site.
"Hong Kong continues to gain popularity and attract travellers from India, as an ideal holiday destination. On Klook, we receive about 30% of users from Southeast and South Asia and have seen a tremendous growth from India," said Anita Ngai, chief revenue officer for Klook.
"We are thrilled to collaborate with Hong Kong Tourism Board and Cathay Pacific to offer Indian travellers a vast variety of in-destination activities."
The ‘Discover Hong Kong Like a Local’ is currently showcasing cultural walking tours in districts like Old Town Central and Sham Shui Po, soft trekking and foodie experiences, said Puneet Kumar, senior manager, market development (India) at HKTB.
"Our partnership with Klook and Cathay Pacific Airways allows Indian travellers to design their Hong Kong trip to explore Hong Kong like a local, with a variety and trendy in-town experiences all at attractive prices," Kumar said.
