Korean Air backs Asian Games
Korean Air has signed up as a prestige partner for the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, Korea, in 2014 and the Asian Indoor-Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in 2013.
Organisers said Korean Air "wishes to utilise the 17th Asian Games as a great opportunity to contribute to sport’s development in Asia and facilitation of the tourism industry and economic growth in this region".
The 4th AIMAG will run from June 29 to July 6, 2013, and the 17th Asian Games from September 19 to October 4, 2014.
The last Asian Games was held in Guangzhou, China, in 2010.
The Olympic Council of Asia general assembly in Macau in November will select the host city for the 2019 Asian Games from one of four bidders: Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. Ԭ
