Kuoni in family push
Kuoni is creating a team of family travel experts as part of a push for this sector of the market.
The long-haul specialist, which has traditionally focused on weddings, honeymoons and couples holidays, says it has seen growing demand from families.
"We have customers who travelled with us for their weddings or honeymoon and who have now got children and are coming back to us for their family holiday," said head of communications Rachel O’Reilly at this week’s ABTA Convention.
It is now training a number of its consultants across its stores to become experts in family travel.
O’Reilly said the operator wouldn’t rule out having a dedicated family programme in the future.
