Kuoni signs deal with Advantage Travel Centres
Five Kuoni shops have joined Advantage Travel Centres managed services scheme, which will enable them to offer a broader range of non-Kuoni products and services.
If the partnership is a success, Kuoni’s seven remaining shops and up to eight new stores will join next year, said Advantage.
The first five shops to join are in Bristol, Bluewater, Cheltenham, Milton Keynes and Solihull.
“I am delighted that Kuoni has chosen Advantage to be its managed service partner,” said Advantage Travel Centres chief executive John McEwan.
"Advantage has a wide portfolio of products and services and will work together with Kuoni on an on-going basis to identify those that will appeal to its customers and complement its existing offering."
Derek Jones, Kuoni vice president distribution and operations Derek Jones said: “The Kuoni retail estate is growing quickly and we need to ensure that we are delivering a tailored range of top quality luxury holidays.
"We’re not planning to sell everything though, we will hand pick a small number of key suppliers in the premium sector to recommend to our customers.”
