L.A. Live lives well
Adding to the allure of LA as a conference center is its L.A. Live, which is described as a one-of-a-kind sports, entertainment and residential district in downtown immediately adjacent to Staples Center and the Convention Center.
“The campus features Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, The GRAMMY Museum, Conga Room and Club Nokia, giving L.A. LIVE more music per square foot than anywhere else in the world and is rapidly becoming the most in-demand and busiest hospitality location in the region,” says a promotional piece.
The center features 260,480 square feet of conference center and ballroom facilities, and world-class restaurants
The JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. Live is a focal point for the area. The hotel has more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a full-service spa, a rooftop pool and an array of casual and fine dining options.
Highlights of things to do include the Grammy Museum, which celebrates music of all genres with exhibits, interactive experiences and films; The Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, which is home of the American Music Awards; and the Staples Center, which hosts the L.A. Lakers and L.A. Kings.
There are also concert tours.
The JW Marriott Los Angeles is offering a US$50 Daily credit package that includes a room, valet parking and a US$50 daily credit.
