Lady Gaga stole my room
The Langham, one of London’s poshest hotels, is to invest millions in a second ‘supersuite’ after having to turn away bookings worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The Daily Mail said the swanky hotel recently lost out on a £350,000 booking because its top suite was already occupied by an unnamed celebrity.
The 2,540 sq ft Infinity suite – which comes complete with two four-poster beds, a private spa and a 72 inch TV – costs around £12,000 a night.
The luxury suite is a firm favourite with celebrities and the super-rich, including Lady Gaga.
The luxury hotel will open its new Stirling suite at the beginning of next year, when it celebrates its 150th birthday.
The Hong Kong-based owner of the 10-strong group of hotels is planning on doubling the number of hotels in its portfolio.
