Langham takes its Place in Guangzhou
A 500-room Langham Place hotel has opened in Guangzhou – the eighth hotel for the Langham group in mainland China, and the 20th in its global portfolio.
Brett Butcher, CEO of Langham Hospitality Group said Guangzhou represents "an important milestone" for the group’s growth in mainland China.
Located on Pazhou Island at the south-eastern part of the city, the hotel is two-minutes from the China Import and Export Fair Complex – home to the world’s largest annual trade fair, the Canton Fair.
The hotel has the largest ballroom in the city, and a combined meeting and event space of nearly 5,000 square metres.
The Nanfung International Conference and Exhibition Centre is directly below the hotel, adding another 20,000 square metres over three floors.
