Las Vegas Airport posts best ever month for air traffic

Sin City just had its busiest ever month for air travel.

Clark County Department of Aviation said Las Vegas McCarran International Airport handled a best-ever total of 4.3 million in July 2017.

That represents a 3.8% jump compared to 2016.

It says 3.9 million flew with domestic carriers, while almost 319,000 arrived on international airlines.

The Department of Aviation said more than 28.1 million passengers have passed through the airport so far this year which is up 2.4% year over year.

The airport’s best ever full year was back in 2007 with 48 million.
