lastminute launch Facebook travel
Customers can now search and book holidays direct from Facebook after lastminute.com improved its page.
The new search function is to target lastminute's 86,000 Facebook fans, offering them direct access to flights, hotels and holidays.
“Lastminute.com's fans are really engaged on Facebook, and our page is a lively forum for sharing stories, asking questions and being inspired,' said a spokeswoman for lastminute.com.
“Our customers expect an efficient and convenient service from lastminute.com, and the ever-growing popularity of our Facebook page made introducing new functionality an obvious next step.”
