Resort deal:

Book clients a ski trip to the US resort of Mammoth with Ski Safari by November 30 and they’ll save £225pp on a 10-night holiday at the four-star The Village. The cost of a two-bedroom suite starts at £1,300pp, based on four sharing, including flights and transfers.

New hotel:

Opening for its first full season on November 30 is Altapura, Val Thorens’ newest and only five-star hotel, which sits at a lofty 2,300m. The French resort will host the primary European stage of the 2012 Ski Cross World Cup, taking place from December 17-19, when the French ski team will stay at the Altapura, a slope-side ski in, ski out property. Packages are available through Ski Bespoke.

New chalets:

Ski Bluebird launches its range of boutique chalet holidays to Courchevel in the French 3 Valleys region this winter, where it claims to offer affordable luxury at standard holiday prices. Featuring just three chalets, the company can accommodate groups of six to 14 people. It sells mainly direct to consumers but will work with travel agents.

Discount weekends:

For clients keen to squeeze in a pre-Christmas ski trip, SkiWeekends has knocked £100 off its five-night trips to Brides les Bains, from where it’s just a short gondola ride to Meribel and the 3 Valleys. Departing on December 15 by coach, it costs £239pp.
